Spin One Hawking Radiation from Dirty Black Holes

چکیده

A “clean” black hole is a black hole in vacuum such as the Schwarzschild black hole. However in real physical systems, there are matter fields around a black hole. Such a black hole is called a “dirty black hole”. In this paper, the effect of matter fields on the black hole and the greybody factor is investigated. The results show that matter fields make a black hole smaller. They can increase the potential energy to a black hole to obstruct Hawking radiation to propagate. This causes the greybody factor of a dirty black hole to be less than that of a clean black hole. Keywords—A dirty black hole, Greybody factor, Hawking radiation, Matter fields.

Hawking radiation of Dirac particles via tunnelling from rotating black holes in de Sitter spaces

Hawking radiation from black hole horizon can be viewed as a quantum tunnelling process, and fermions via tunnelling can successfully recover Hawking temperature. In this paper, considering the tunnelling particles with spin 1/2 (namely, Dirac particles), we further improve Kerner and Man’s fermion tunnelling method to study Hawking radiation via tunnelling from rotating black holes in de Sitte...

Black Holes in Theories with Large Extra Dimensions: a Review

We start by reviewing the existing literature on the creation of black holes during highenergy particle collisions, both in the absence and in the presence of extra, compact, spacelike dimensions. Then, we discuss in detail the properties of the produced higherdimensional black holes, namely the horizon radius, temperature and life-time, as well as the physics that governs the evaporation of th...

Hawking radiation from rotating brane black holes ∗

We review recent work [1, 2, 3] on the Hawking radiation of rotating brane black holes, as may be produced at the LHC. We outline the methodology for calculating the fluxes of particles, energy and angular momentum by spin-0, spin-1/2 and spin1 quantum fields on the brane. We briefly review some of the key features of the emission, in particular the changes in the spectra as the number of extra...

Fluxes of Higher-spin Currents and Hawking Radiations from Charged Black Holes

This is an extended version of the previous paper (hep-th/0701272). Quantum fields near horizons can be described in terms of an infinite set of two-dimensional conformal fields. We first generalize the method of Christensen and Fulling to charged black holes to derive fluxes of energy and charge. These fluxes can be obtained by employing a conformal field theory technique. We then apply this t...

Hawking Radiation via Higher-spin Gauge Anomalies

We give a higher-spin generalization of the anomaly method for the Hawking radiation from black holes. In the paper [13] higher-spin generalizations of the gauge (and gravitational) anomalies in d=2 were obtained. By applying these anomalies to black hole physics, we derive the higher moments of the Hawking fluxes. We also give a higher-spin generalization of the trace anomaly method by Christe...
